The live performance is presented in the style of a radio drama recording session, with the actors costumed according to their roles and performing simple blocking in front of their microphones.  Sound effects and musical interludes are performed live.  The set evokes a simple sound booth for broadcasting the live radio dramas of yesteryear, with separate spaces for actors, foley artists, and musicians.  The theme is heightened by a hand-painted mural across the surface of the booth.  The entire set and all props collapsed into three large suitcases for travel to the Adelaide Fringe Festival in Australia.

A radio voiceover actor longs for the self-assured confidence of the super sleuth he portrays on his weekly program.  So he gives real detective work a shot, as he investigates a nearby shooting that left a dead man holding a lady's handbag.
